Jessica Montoya Coggins is a writer, journalist, and activist in Washington, D.C. She has contributed to publications and websites including NBC News, Salon, The Dallas Morning News, Jezebel, and Latino Magazine. Much of her writing focuses on multicultural politics, education, and income disparity. Jessica has also interviewed and profiled a number of influential leaders, from community trailblazers to successful entrepreneurs. She graduated from Harvard University in 2008 with a B.A. in English Literature.
