After three people were killed in a shooting outside of Jewish centers in Kansas City during the week of Passover, we FEATURE Rabbi Sharon Brous to discuss the reaction in the Jewish community. Rabbi Sharon Brous is the founding rabbi of IKAR, a vibrant Jewish Spiritual Community in Los Angeles dedicated to the integration of spiritual and religious practice and the pursuit of social justice. She was included in the Forward's annual list of the 50 most influential members of the American Jewish community for three years in a row, and was recently noted in Newsweek as one of the leading rabbis in the country. She serves as adjunct faculty at Hebrew Union College and sits on the rabbinic advisory boards of American Jewish World Service and Hebrew College.

Annette Nellen, CPA, Esq. focuses on modernizing tax systems while respecting the principles of good tax policy. With a blood moon eclipse tonight beginning an unusual series of four lunar eclipses in the next two years and with NASA announcing a launch to resupply the International Space Station, we FEATURE scientist Emily Lakdawalla of the Planetary Society. Lakdawalla is in demand as a public speaker to science and astronomy events, trusted by scientists to interpret their work correctly and communicate about it clearly. She appears weekly on the Society's "Planetary Radio" show, aired on more than 200 public radio stations and Sirius and XM satellite radio, answering listener questions or rounding up the latest space news from the blog. Lakdawalla is also a contributing editor to Sky and Telescope Magazine, for whom she has written articles about Mars, the Moon, outer planets, spacecraft imaging, and Kuiper belt objects.

For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we FEATURE Debjani Roy, Deputy Director of Hollaback!, a movement to end street harassment powered by a network of local activists around the world. She has worked on issues including domestic violence, sexual assault, forced marriage, 'honor' based violence, sexual trafficking/forced prostitution, widows’ rights and immigrant rights.
