Ximena Ugarte Trangay is a lawyer. Since 2018 she is part of the Mexican Institute of Human Rights and Democracy. She is the author and co-author of various publications related to the disappearance of people and violence against women, highlighting the “Practical Guide to Investigation of the Crime of Femicide” and “Guide for relatives of missing persons.”
