Yvonne Gutierrez is Managing Director at Latino Victory Project.

She was formerly Head of Community Engagement at Supermajority and, prior to that, she was the Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Texas Votes (PPTV), the statewide electoral and advocacy organization working to engage and organize Texans throughout the state, committed to supporting candidates who are willing to fight and protect women's access to health care.

She had worked in the Planned Parenthood family for 14 years and possesses a strong knowledge of public affairs, advocacy, government relations and legislative issues, as well as campaign management.

Prior to becoming executive director of PPTV, she served as Vice President of Public Affairs and Government Relations for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast (PPGC), where her role included lobbying state legislatures in Texas and Louisiana and overseeing grassroots organizing efforts. Before that she served as Vice President of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood of South Texas (PPST), where she worked to advance the public policy agenda of Planned Parenthood with the media and build support for their agenda with community leaders and coalition partners.

Active in civic engagement efforts, Yvonne chairs the board of directors for the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, serves on the Planned Parenthood Federation of America Political Action Fund Committee and on the board of the Workers Defense Action Fund which engages historically underrepresented Texas voters in campaigns to elect representatives that care about the needs of working families.

In 2018, Yvonne was selected as a fellow in the Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) Binational Fellowship Program for outstanding Latina professionals. In 2016, Yvonne served on the Democratic National Convention Platform Committee as a Hillary Clinton delegate. That same year, she was selected as a fellow in the Rockwood Leadership Institute Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice Fellowship program.

She has been honored as a community champion by the Texas Organizing Project (2018) and a champion for women by the Capital Area (Austin) Democratic Women (2015) as well as the Texas Democratic Women of Harris County Metro (2013). Yvonne received the Rising Star award from Annie's List, the leading organization in Texas dedicated to electing progressive, pro-choice Democratic women (2011).
