Bio

Tiffany Hosey is a business executive, lawyer and recent innovator in construction analytics. While working as a civil litigator for over 15 years, her experience ranged from the defense of professional liability cases to serving as counsel to a panel of judges overseeing a multi-billion dollar products liability litigation fund. As a business executive, she worked for 7 years as President of her family’s construction management company and is presently CEO of BuilDATAnalytics a construction analytics firm.

Her innovative, game changing SAAS platform, CTBIM, enables more effective and comprehensive "positive control" of large, complex construction projects. Tiffany’s company was chosen out of over 250 competitors as a winner of the 1st Ballston BID Launchpad Challenge, sponsored by Ted Leonsis and the Ballston Business Improvement District.

She has been a guest lecturer for the Strategy and Entrepreneurship program at Marymount University School of Business Administration, and has presented a webinar to the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M.

Although she no longer practices law, Tiffany’s commitment to the profession remains intact. She recently joined the Board of Directors of Gideon’s Promise, an organization whose mission is to inspire, mobilize and train legal professionals to provide the highest quality defense representation to people unable to afford an attorney. For several years, she also served as a guest lecturer for the Council on Legal Education Opportunity. She is a two time recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Black Law Alumni Association of the George Washington University.

Tiffany holds a Class A Contractor’s license from the Commonwealth of Virginia; is certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Quality Control Construction Management; is proficient in written and spoken Japanese; and holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. in English Literature from Georgetown University.
