Debi Yadegari is the founder and chief empathy officer of Villyge, a manager enablement platform that upskills managers in the power of empathic leadership. Villyge equips managers with the “just in time” guidance they need to navigate current events, community crises, and the unique "Life Events" of their team members (such as burnout, miscarriage, leave, divorce, elder care, loss, coming out, and more) in an appropriate and productive manner. Once a Wall Street lawyer, Debi created Villyge to address the problems she both experienced and witnessed in the workplace. Today, Debi is a sought-after thought leader whose work and expertise have been featured in numerous media outlets, including Fox Business, Forbes, World at Work, Strategic CHRO 360, Human Resource Executive, Business Insider, Leader’s Edge, and Employee Benefits News. Previously, Debi served as in-house counsel to the investment banking division of Lehman Brothers. She received her BA in economics and political science from Barnard College of Columbia University and her JD from George Washington Law School. Most importantly, she is a working mother of five (ages 6, 12, 14, 16 and 18) dedicated to shaping the Future of Work for the next generation to come.
