Caitlin Abber is the Brand Editor at MM.LaFleur. Previously she was Senior Features Editor at Bustle: the online community and news site. Prior to Bustle, she was a producer and journalist for Public Radio International, where she focused on millennials and politics. Also, she was the Senior Editor at Women’s Health, where she produced and hosted the podcast, Uninterrupted. Notable guests on the show include Gloria Steinem, Chirlane McCray, Margaret Cho, Ivanka Trump, Padma Lakshmi, Arianna Huffington, and more. Caitlin was previously the Issues Editor at MTV News, as well as the Managing Editor of MTV Act. As the Issues Beat Lead at MTV News, she was tasked with building and executing on a comprehensive editorial calendar structured around breaking news, politics, social justice, sexual, and mental health issues that impact the lives of millennials. Under Abber's management, MTV's social justice vertical received an honorary award for Best Youth Website at the 2014 Webby's. Before MTV, Abber freelanced for outlets such as Hello Giggles, XO Jane, and Conversion Planet. Abber received her undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in 2006, and a Masters In Media Studies from the New School in 2011.
