Her research focuses on the role of women in anti-government movements, and their ability to create new political and social roles in the post-conflict governments. In addition to her academic work, Kyleanne has worked with Mountain2Mountain as an in-field consultant with the Afghan Women’s National Cycling Team. She has served as both a mechanic and coach in Afghanistan, helping the grass-roots team to achieve international recognition.
