Shira Tarrant, PhD is a nationally recognized expert on gender and sexual politics. Dr. Tarrant is a go-to media source for top stories about pop culture, public policy, pornography, and masculinity. Her most recent books are The Pornography Industry: What Everyone Needs to Know (Oxford University Press), New Views on Pornography (Praeger), and Gender, Sex, and Politics (Routledge). Her publications also include Men Speak Out: Views on Gender, Sex and Power (Routledge), When Sex Became Gender (Routledge), Men and Feminism (Seal Press), and Fashion Talks: Undressing the Power of Style (SUNY Press).
