Sally Lee is editor-in-chief of Parents Magazine. Founded in 1926, Parents pioneered the parenthood category; with 15.6 million readers every month, it continues to lead the field today. Parents is an active advocate for the American family, providing moms and dads with the information they need to raise happy and healthy children.

Before joining Parents, Lee served as editor-in-chief of Fitness, where she orchestrated a complete redesign and refocus of the editorial product. The magazine was named #1 on Adweek magazine's "Hot Up-and-Comers" list in 1998. The magazine also experienced fast-paced growth in circulation and advertising under her leadership.

Prior to her work at Fitness, she led YM as editor-in-chief. Under her direction, YM accelerated its outstanding circulation growth, newsstand sales grew 40 percent and its rate base increased to 2 million. Before joining YM, Lee served as senior editor at Redbook and articles editor for Woman's Day.

Lee taught writing at Clark University before launching her career in journalism as a reporter at the Worcester Telegram, later becoming managing editor for the Worcester Monthly, a city magazine that she helped launch.

She is an active board member of Room to Grow, a not-for-profit organization that supplies clothing, books, toys and other necessities to underprivileged children during the first three years of life. Lee has edited several books on parenting and is the author of The Best Advice I Ever Got, an expansive collection of know-how from real-life parenting experts.

She has made frequent guest appearances on television programs, including “Today,” “Live with Regis and Kelly,” NBC’s “Later Today,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “Oprah,” “Nightline” and “Good Morning America”.
