Bio

Rebecca Alesia has been booking vacations since 2013, but her passion for travel dates back to childhood. At five years old, she had already stayed at the George V in Paris and eaten gelato by the Trevi Fountain; by her twenty-first birthday, she’d already toured five continents. After traveling extensively with her husband and son, Rebecca specializes in family and multi-generational travel. In addition to being a travel agent, Rebecca is a “recovering attorney” who enjoys serving as an appointed member of her local Zoning Board. Whether she’s working towards solutions in her township or is crafting complex itineraries on behalf of her clients, Rebecca’s diligence and creativity fuel her success.

Favorite place to travel: Bermuda, every summer, with my family. I love the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking sunsets each evening, indulge in gourmet food, stretch my toes out in the pink sand, and body surf next to my son, all within a two hour flight of New York.

Favorite trip planned for a client: Time and again clients return from South Africa telling me that their time there was “life changing.” Literally, those are the words that they use, and I’ve heard them more than once. Sharing my passion for the history, natural beauty and conserved paradise that exists in the world is what makes Wanderology less of a job and more of a passion.

#1 travel tip/hack: Read before you go – NOT just the Internet! Before our family travel, we stock up on novels, biographies and (for the kids) picture books that feature the destination where we’re headed. It brings a new dimension to the trip and makes sightseeing more relevant and meaningful.

Favorite travel quote: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”― Mark Twain https://www.cnn.com/travel/art...
