Carrie Ann Alford is an experienced public speaker and policy professional with a demonstrated history of bipartisanship in state and federal government in crafting veterans policy. She has been working with the documentary film production company Creative Chaos and their film, "Thank You For Your Service" since 2016.
She worked as a journalist in Washington, D. C. from 2001-2003 and as a freelance writer from 2003-2010, mostly on ghostwriting projects. She has published one novel, Click (AuthorHouse, 2006), and edited two publications while working as an editor at Community Development Publications in Silver Spring, MD (2001, 2002).
Alford speaks mostly at military instillations, to veterans organizations and on panels discussing veterans issues. She has also been a member of many panel discussions post screening of TYFYS discussing what Virginia has done for veterans in relation to the documentary.
She spent a decade on the campaign trail working for candidates at all levels and in many parts of the country. Alford has also mentored several young women looking to break into politics.
Alford received a Masters in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University and a Certificate in International Affairs - National Security Policy from Texas A&M University.
