Jessica Peltz-Zatulove is a Partner at MDC Ventures, where she focuses on investments in early stage startups that address the needs of the Modern CMO. As a Madison Avenue veteran turned Venture Capitalist, Jessica has a unique perspective with a blend of advertising, entrepreneur, and venture experience. She's sourced investments including Msg.ai, Catch & Release, Mezzobit (acquired by OpenX), and Lively.

Jessica is a well known thought leader with relationships at over 500+ startup organizations and venture funds across 20+ countries. In addition to being featured on CNBC, Fox Business, and popular podcasts - she's been named one of "NYC's 100 Most Influential People in Tech”, “35 People in NYC Tech to Watch”, and a Rising Star by Global Corporate Venture. She’s also a strong advocate for gender diversity and inclusion in the community, and runs both the women in VC group in NYC (now 225+ women), and created the global directory for women in VC (now scaled to 550+ women across 6 continents). Jessica is also a mentor at ERA, one of NY’s top accelerators, and #BuiltByGirls, a program for promising young women in high school interested in technology careers.

Prior to joining MDC, she specialized connecting marketers with emerging technology and spent 10+ years working with Fortune 500 brands including Verizon Wireless, Kraft Foods, and H&M. At Evol8tion, she helped startups secure their first customers through brand partnerships, and as a VP at Zenith Media was recognized an industry pioneer in the mobile space; her cutting edge collaborations were often featured in Mashable, Adage, Mobile Marketer, and Mediapost.

Jessica has a BA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, with a double concentration in Marketing and International Relations. She lives on the UWS of Manhattan with her husband and baby daughter.
