Mia Adler Ozair is a clinically licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in Los Angeles, California. In addition to her ten-plus years of experience as a therapist, she has over 20 years of expertise in the worlds of education, non-profit organizations, and public speaking. She is also a professional writer who recently released, Insider's Secrets: How to Choose an Exceptional Therapist (and How to Avoid the Bad Ones). Mia is the mom to nine kids--yes nine! Three of hers, four of his, and two of theirs, providing Mia with a unique life perspective and ability to educate and guide others in a remarkable way.

Mia has held positions ranging from Director of Curriculum for an international non-profit to working as an educator and program developer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in both men's and women's facilities. She has conducted educator training and consulting for high profile school districts such as the Chicago Public Schools and other Chicago-area school districts as well as Beverly Hills Unified School Districts. She has also authored Essential Proteen: A Life Skills Program for Helping Teens Succeed (Research Press).
