Lizzy Stephan is the Executive Director at New Era Colorado, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to reinvent politics for young people, mobilizing and empowering a new generation to participate in our democracy to move Colorado forward. New Era Colorado is an affiliate of the Bus Federation, and is one of the largest young voter mobilization efforts in the country. Lizzy joined the organization in 2012, and has run the organization's civic engagement, advocacy, and communications efforts. She ran Colorado's largest voter registration drive for the 2014 midterm election in her capacity as Organizing Director. Most recently, she served as New Era's Deputy Director. Lizzy is a graduate of Colorado College and a member of the Colorado BlueFlower Fund Board of Directors, which supports pro-choice, Democratic women running for state and local office.
