Bio

Lindsay Crudele is a Boston-based journalist who writes about culture, lifestyle, food, and technology.

She also served as a digital strategist who founded the City of Boston's digital engagement program, leading the City through major crisis events including the Boston Marathon attacks, and advising city leadership on digital adoption.

Crudele was recognized for her work to engage constituents and policy-makers with GovTech's Top 25 Doers, Dreamers & Drivers award, as well as a James Beard Award (and second nomination) for her radio journalism.

She is the co-author of "Social Media for Government, Theory & Practice" (Taylor & Francis, 2016) who appears regularly as an expert source in media (Boston Globe, GovTech Magazine, more) as well as books - "The Responsive City," (Jossey-Bass); "Crisis Communication Case Studies" (Routledge).
