Leah Weiss, PhD, MSW is a professor, trainer, consultant and author specializing in the application of mindfulness and compassion at work and in parenting. She teaches courses at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a Senior Teacher and Trainer for Stanford’s Compassion Cultivation Program, founded by HH the Dalai Lama. She also directs Compassion Education and Scholarship at HopeLab, an Omidyar Group research and development nonprofit focused on resilience. Leah is currently working on Heart at Work, forthcoming from HarperWave, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. She has participated in a wide variety of media forums such as NPR All Things Considered, Good Housekeeping, and Stanford’s Social Innovation Review.
