Networking expert, Kelly Hoey is the author of the book “Build Your Dream Network: Forging Powerful Relationships In A Hyper-Connected World” (Tarcher Perigee/Penguin Random House). She’s working on her second book which focuses on the unique networks women need for career success. An advisor and facilitator sought out for her networking insights, Kelly has been lauded from Forbes (“1 of 5 Women Changing the World of VC/Entrepreneurship”) to Business Insider (“1 of the 100 Most Influential Tech Women On Twitter”) and Inc. (1 of “10 Most Well-Connected People in New York City's Startup Scene”).

Building and tapping into networks, explains how Kelly transformed her career from corporate lawyer to president of a global business network for executive women to founding a startup accelerator to writing a book, and becoming a sought-out speaker. In 2011, Kelly co-founded the first startup accelerator focused exclusively on fast-tracking the growth of early-stage mobile technology ventures founded by women. Kelly remains active in the startup community as an L.P. in two emerging technology funds (Laconia Capital Group and Lattice Ventures) and advisor to New Zealand Trade & Enterprise.
