Kate Gould is the lead lobbyist on Middle East policy for the Friends Committee on National Legislation, a Quaker lobby in the public interest. Kate has advocated on U.S. foreign policy for more than eight years and is one of only a handful of registered lobbyists in Washington, D.C. working to advance diplomatic solutions in U.S. policy towards Iran, Iraq, Syria and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In the Middle East, Kate worked as a freelance journalist, helped coordinate a radio program run by the Israel-Palestine Center for Research and Information and taught Palestinian English teachers for AMIDEAST. She represents FCNL on the board of Churches for Middle East Peace.
