Bio

I'm a baseball writer & baseball podcaster, with a focus on intersectional feminism. I'm a domestic abuse and sexual assault survivor. I've written about those issues in correlation to my life in baseball, as well as my experience with sexual harassment in the industry. I've written for Baseball Prospectus, The Sporting News, Fangraphs, MLB.com, Minor League Ball, Junior Baseball Magazine, among others. For thirteen years, I exclusively wrote about minor league baseball, labor issues, and how women are treated in those spaces. I've appeared in an ESPNw piece about the MLB Dress Code, hosted Baseball Prospectus popular chat series, and spoke at the MLB Winter Meetings on building a media career in MiLB. I created the baseball blog Heels On The Field in 2008, covering MiLB, MLB, independent league, collegiate, as well as gender issues in the industry.
