Felicia Joy is an entrepreneur, author and speaker who owns and represents a diverse portfolio of enterprises, including Ms. CEO Inc., a media, merchandise and events company that produces inspirational content and goods that embolden women entrepreneurs to achieve their greatest potential in business. She also operates Joy Group International, LLC – a business development and consulting firm. Felicia, who tweets at http://twitter.com/feliciajoy and http://twitter.com/msceo, has become known as a go-to resource and coach for aspiring, start-up and emerging entrepreneurs.

She created and launched the on-demand radio program, “The Ms. CEO Show,” the number one national talk radio show for women entrepreneurs. She is author of “Hybrid Entrepreneurship: How the Middle Class Can Beat the Slow Economy, Earn Extra Income and Reclaim the American Dream.”

Felicia teaches small business and entrepreneurship classes at Emory University and has appeared in national press, including FOX, CNN, CBS, NECN, ForbesWoman, OpenForum.com, and on several business radio programs.

Prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Felicia built a successful career in corporate America as a crisis management and communications executive, serving several industries including aviation, energy and social services. She created more than $50 million in value for these organizations by applying her expertise in strategy, management, communications and leadership excellence.

In her early twenties, she led the Youth Leadership Council in successfully lobbying the Georgia legislature to pass the Foster Child Education Grant, which enables children who grow up in Georgia’s foster care system to receive grants and attend college without the burden of debt.

At 26, she became the youngest chief spokesperson ever for the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and has been recognized locally and nationally for her advanced leadership skills by mayors, governors and the Young Global Leaders division of the World Economic Forum.

Felicia is a native Georgian (USA) and a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in Journalism and Political Science.
