Chloe Safier is a feminist activist and an independent consultant. She has worked on women's rights and gender justice issues for organizations including Oxfam, UN Women, FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund and US based non-profits for over a decade. Examples of her work include collaboratively building a social innovation lab for young feminist activists called The Roots Lab, advancing gender justice in organizations through audits and training, developing women's rights programs for Oxfam in Southern Africa and UN Women in Vietnam, and providing expert consulting to a variety of women's philanthropic funds and UN Women offices. She holds a Masters in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard, and a Bachelors from Wesleyan University. She also co-created a network of women working on global justice called Internationalistas, and is an associate at Gender at Work. She has written for the LA Times, New America Weekly and Open Democracy, among other places. She tweets at @chloelenas.
