Weekly op-ed columnist at El Espectador and El Heraldo in Colombia, and Sin Embargo in México. Executive director and founder of Hoja Blanca magazine-NGO (HojaBlanca.net). Co-creator of (e)stereotipas (Estereotipas.com) an online, feminist, Latin American project that uses pop aesthetics and social and online media for counter-speech. Independent consultant on digital communications strategies. Specializes in journalism with gender perspective, journalism on Human Rights and cultural journalism. Youth Action Net Fellow (2011). Her work as a journalist and commentator has been also published in Vice Magazine, Letras Libres, Razón Pública and The Guardian.
Has worked as Communications Officer at Women’s Link Worldwide, and as communications coordinator for Mesoamerica at JASS Just Associate. Also, as Press Chief for the Caro y Cuervo Institute and for Bogotá’s International Book Fair in the 2010 edition. Was Professor of Opinion Journalism at the School of Communications at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and of Digital Journalism at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, both in Bogotá. Has been an editor for various publications both digital and in print. Her work in poetry has been published in magazines such as Viacuarenta and El Malpensante.
