Cali Williams Yost is an internationally-recognized work+life expert and author of Work+Life: Finding the Fit That’s Right for You (Riverhead/Penguin Group, 2004), the first work+life “fit” management strategy for individuals. In addition to her weekly Work+Life “Fit” Blog, Yost is an expert blogger for Fast Company.

Yost and Work+Life have been featured in national publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Newsweek, USA Today, Fast Company, Money Magazine, Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Men’s Health’s Best Life, Working Mother, and Seattle Times.

With over a decade working in the work+life field, she is also the President and founder of Work+Life Fit, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in developing innovative flexibility strategies for organizations and individuals based upon the proprietary Work+Life Fit™ Partnership model.

Clients include organizations such as AstraZeneca, BASF, BDO Seidman, LLP, Barclays Global Investors, Ernst&Young, GlaxoSmithKline, JC Penney, JPMorganChase, Lehman Brothers, Lifetime Television, Merrill Lynch, Microsoft, Novo Nordisk, U.S. Navy and Quaker; and students and alumni of some of the top business schools including Columbia, Darden, Harvard, Kellogg, Tuck, University of Chicago, and Wharton.

Before founding Work+Life, Inc., Yost began working as a work+life strategy consultant to Fortune 500 companies with the Families and Work Institute, followed by Bright Horizons Family Solutions - two of the country’s premier work+life organizations.

In February, 2007, Yost received the “Rising Star Award” from the AWLP, the Alliance of Work-Life Progress.

She received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and her MBA from Columbia Business School. Prior to entering the work+life field, she worked as a commercial banker in New York City. She lives in New Jersey with her very supportive husband and two beautiful daughters.
