Uraidah Hassani


Uraidah Hassani is the founder and executive director of The Women Worldwide Initiative, a nonprofit organization based in New York City that empowers women and girls in underserved communities to strengthen their capacity as decision-makers. Hassani is a 2016 candidate in master’s of science in the foreign service program at Georgetown University, where she is concentrating on international development with a special focus on conflict-affected populations. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University in 2011, where she earned a bachelor's in international relations with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa.
