Bio:
Samantha Swords is an artist, craftsperson, sword fighter and performer from Wellington, NEw Zealand. She works in the film industry and has been involved with Weta Workshop since 2008, working on productions including The Hobbit, Superman: Man of Steel, The Chronicles of Narnia, District 9 and Elysium. She works with propmaking, armour construction, modelmaking, miniatures, set construction. Outside of being an experienced performer, she is deeply versed in the weapons, armour, military technology and martial arts of medieval Europe.
