Regina K. Scully is the Founder and CEO of Artemis Rising Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to developing and promoting Media, Education and the Arts that transform our culture. Ms. Scully is also the Founder and CEO of RPR Marketing Communications, a premier Public Relations Agency, NYC, specializing in exclusive consumer products and brands. A social entrepreneur, media activist, and documentary filmmaker, Ms. Scully is a leading communications and media consultant, speaking at schools, conferences, and companies around the world.

Ms. Scully is a three-time Emmy Award-winning and Academy-nominated producer of The Invisible War, the powerful 2012 film about the epidemic rapes of women and men in the military. She is also Academy Award-nominated producer of the song, “Til It Happens to You,” sung by Lady Gaga, the theme song for the film The Hunting Ground.

Ms. Scully has also produced upwards one hundred documentary films, shining a light on some of the most challenging social issues of our time. Some of her powerful films include: Fed Up, Newtown, Dreamcatcher, Prophet’s Prey, Alive Inside, MissRepresentation, Under the Gun, Audrie & Daisy, Hazing, Resilience, The Mask You Live In, Trapped, Anita Hill: Speaking Truth to Power, and Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise. A 30-year veteran in the combined fields of journalism, public relations, brand marketing, and media literacy.

Regina K. Scully is the Founding Sponsor of the Athena Film Festival (NYC), which support and highlights women in filmmaking. Ms. Scully is also Co-Executive Producer and the Founding and Sustaining Sponsor of Women’s Media Center Live with Robin Morgan, which is an award-winning nationally syndicated radio show and podcast on 110 stations and on Apple iTunes.

In addition to filmmaking, Ms. Scully is deeply passionate about education reform and has helped launch and support some of the most successful inner city charter schools in the country: the Success Academy Schools in NY (www.successacademies.org) and the Making Waves Academy Schools in Northern California (www.makingwaves.org). Ms. Scully has a successful track record of building and producing successful premier brands, projects, and films that integrate cause-related issues, social media, and outreach campaigns, and accompanying curricula.
