Academy Award® nominated director Bruce Beresford (DRIVING MISS DAISY) delivers a career-defining performance from actress Jane Fonda (Emmy and two-time Academy Award winner) in PEACE, LOVE AND MISUNDERSTANDING. For uptight Manhattan lawyer Diane (Keener), crazy means driving her teenage son Jake (Nat Wolff) and adult daughter Zoe (Olsen) to visit their grandmother Grace (Fonda), who the kids have never met. Grace is the epitome of the term “hippie”: she stages protests in the town square, and smokes (and sells) a lot of dope. But what’s meant to be a weekend getaway turns into a summer adventure of romance, music, family secrets, and self-discovery. This film, which also stars Chace Crawford and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is a heartfelt comedy and a story about second chances and the things that divide and reunite families.

The Women's Media Center makes women and girls visible and powerful in the media by working with the media to ensure that women’s stories are told and women’s voices are heard. The Center does this in the following ways: media advocacy campaigns, media monitoring for sexism, creating original content, training women and girls to participate in media, and connecting women experts with the media. The Center was founded in 2005 as a non-profit women’s media organization by Jane Fonda, Robin Morgan, and Gloria Steinem.
