Women’s Leadership Conference explores Publishing, Technology, & the Female Brain
November 18, 2010
The third annual Women’s Leadership Conference will be held February 25, 2011, hosted by Exceptional Women in Publishing (EWIP). This year’s theme, "Woman and the Machine – Publishing, Technology, and the Female Brain,” explores how women must constantly reinvent themselves and their workplaces to keep up with the rapid pace of change brought on by new technologies in publishing. The conference will bring together top leaders and innovators from the worlds of publishing, business, media, and technology.
This year’s theme has far-reaching implications – it highlights just how important it is for women to harness the power of technology and ensure that their voices are heard. In order to change the conversation in a media landscape that is constantly evolving, women need to know where and how that conversation is taking place. Being tech-savvy is more than just a useful skill for women – it’s a necessity. Whether you're working on a book or pitching stories, make sure to save the date, and check out EWIP’s Facebook and Twitter pages for more updates on the 2011 Women’s Leadership Conference.
