December 3, 2010

The first-ever TEDWomen conference is happening in D.C. next week, on December 7th and 8th. It’s a sold-out program, but you can still experience it by heading the Paley Center in New York or Los Angeles to watch it streaming live! With speakers like Nancy Pelosi, Donna Karan, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (President of Liberia) and Sheryl Sandberg (COO, Faceook), it’s going to be a powerhouse event!

The corss-disciplinary, cross-generational conference invites women and men to look at women’s ideas, leadership, and effects on the future! Focusing on women as agents of change, it explores the link between investment in women and girls and economic and political growth and stability. From world leaders to teenage filmmakers, from anthropologists to businesswomen, the speakers – and audience – at the conference are sure to be inspiring.
