Bunnies Speak Out for Reproductive Rights. No Joke.
March 23, 2010In an equally hilarious and informative video released today, the Center for Reproductive Rights marks the first anniversary of a major victory in reproductive rights policy, when a federal court ruled that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had “acted in bad faith and in response to political pressure” in its behind-the-counter restrictions to emergency contraception, which are available only to women age 17 and older, and require a government issued ID. Scientists and medical experts, including the FDA’s own scientific review panel, agree there are no medical grounds for denying young women access to emergency contraception, but the agency has left its restrictions unchanged. In light of the FDA's bogus procedural delays, the CRR presents: bunnies. Enjoy. Then, sign the Center for Reproductive Right's petition!
