Elizabeth G. Hines, a New York-based writer, is co-author of the award-winning bestseller Black Titan: A.G. Gaston and the Making of a Black American Millionaire. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Media Institute (parent company of AlterNet.org) and a member of the advisory board of the Women’s Media Center.
