
Paula J. Caplan, Ph.D., is a clinical and research psychologist and author. Her books include They Say You're Crazy: How the World's Most Powerful Psychiatrists Decide Who's Normal, The Myth of Women's Masochism, and Don't Blame Mother: Mending the Mother-Daughter Relationship. With her son, Jeremy B. Caplan, she co-authored Thinking Critically About Research on Sex and Gender. She is currently a lecturer at Harvard University.
