Valerie Plame Wilson
As a former covert CIA operations officer, Valerie Plame Wilson worked to protect America’s national security and prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Plame Wilson is the author of the New York Times best-selling autobiography Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House, which has just been released as a movie starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn. She is a member of Global Zero (globalzero.org), an international initiative for the elimination of nuclear weapons, and appeared in the critically acclaimed documentary Countdown to Zero speaking about nuclear proliferation and terrorism. Plame Wilson is a consultant to the Santa Fe Institute, a scientific nonprofit research institute for multidisciplinary collaborations. She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband Joe, and their 10-year old twins.
