Susan Feiner

Susan Feiner is a professor of women’s and gender studies, and of economics at The University of Southern Maine. One of the original contributors to the new field of feminist economics, she’s been an visiting professor at the University of Athens, the University of South Australia, and the University of Amsterdam. Her 2004 book, with Professor Drucilla Barker, Liberating Economics: feminist perspectives on families, work and globalization, was an “outstanding academic title.” Feiner is now focused on economic journalism for progressive social change. She has a monthly column in the Maine Sunday Telegraph.
