Seattle City Council Member Nick Licata (left) was lead sponsor of the Seattle Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance and chairs the committee on Housing, Human Services, Health and Culture. He has been a Seattle City Council member since 1998 and active in civic engagement and Seattle politics since 1975.
Marilyn P. Watkins (right) is policy director of the Economic Opportunity Institute, a Seattle-based public policy center working to restore the promise of the middle class. She chairs the Seattle Coalition for a Healthy Workforce and is on the executive committee of Family Values@Work Consortium.
