Maria Yatskova-Ibrahimova

Award-winning filmmaker Maria Yatskova-Ibrahimova made her debut film Miss GULAG with the support of the Sundance Institute and the Ford Foundation. The film premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and traveled the world to more than 40 festivals. It was later shown on the BBC and many other channels in Europe and the United States. Currently a Fulbright awardee, she is making films in Azerbaijan.
