Elsa Sjunneson-Henry
Bio:
Elsa Sjunneson-Henry is a half-blind, half-deaf disability activist and writer living in New Jersey. She has an MA in Women's History from Sarah Lawrence College. Her nonfiction work has been featured on feminist sonar, XOJane, Offbeat Bride, and elsewhere. Her fiction work has appeared in many tabletop roleplaying game books, and in GHOST IN THE COGS from Broken Eye Books. When not at her desk scribbling words down, she can be found walking her hound dog on Revolutionary War battlefields.
The TV show, which is about to begin its last season, has been a very surprising source for authentic portrayals of people with disabilities.
